Tuesday, 3 April 2018, Kuching: Pan Borneo Highway Sarawak, once again, will be featured in a three-leg exhibition- Sejiwa Senada- to be held starting this weekend in Miri.
The exhibition is an initiative undertaken by the state government to inform the public on the various development programmes as well as to serve as a one-stop-centre to provide various services to the public.
Second leg of the exhibition will be held in Saratok on April 21 and 22 and followed by Kuching at MJC Batu Kawah New Township on April 28 and 29.
The Pan Borneo Highway Sarawak booth is expected to be thronged by visitors to the exhibition who are keen to find out the latest progress of this single largest infrastructure project in the state.
Sarawakians are looking forward to driving along this four-lane dual carriageway highway, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2021 from the current two-lane single carriageway, thus providing them with a comfortable driving journey from Telok Melano all the way to Miri before connecting to Sabah via Limbang and Lawas.
Construction of Limbang and Lawas stretch is expected to start soon.
Construction of the Pan Borneo Highway Sarawak began in 2015 with the 43 kilometre’s Kick-Off Project (KOP) from Jalan Nyabau to Jalan Bakun.
Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg will be officiating the exhibition this weekend.
